FMCSA Safety/Compliance Specialist (Contract Role)

This role is for a Consultant with FMCSA expertise to assist our clients with guidance, support and training as needed. Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Assisting RiskCon clients on how to create and manage driver qualification files in accordance with DOT | FMCSA regulatory requirements.

  • Working with clients for planning and implementing safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal rules and regulations, including OSHA and DOT | FMCSA.

  • Conducting EHS risk assessments, self-assessments, audits, and inspection processes.

  • Conducting safety training courses for various stakeholders.

  • Identifying best practices and leading improvement initiatives on a continual basis to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practice at client facilities.

EHS Specialist (Contract Role)

This role is for a Specialist with expertise in assorted environmental health and safety resources to assist our clients with guidance, support and training as needed. Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Conducting inspections of client facilities to identify/assess safety, health, and environmental risks and evaluate compliance with all applicable government safety, health, and security regulations and procedures.

  • Conducting EHS risk assessments, self-assessments, audits, and inspection processes.

  • Examining client work environments for various physical, chemical, biological, and environmental hazards and stresses, and recommending improvements to both processes and equipment.

  • Providing technical advice, coaching, guidance, and mentoring to clients on safety initiatives and necessary safety-related changes.
